Vast Poetics
Vast Poetics is a continuous body of work, primarily in black and white, about life within large spaces - both built and natural. The photographs focus on light in shadowed environments and the presence of bodies within them.

Type | Faces was my first long-term project. It began in 2019 and the final photographs were made in 2025.
The initial spark came years earlier. I remember seeing the back cover of Songs from a Room, where Marianne Ihlen sits behind Leonard Cohen’s typewriter. I wanted that same simplicity for my own writing. Around 2012 I bought my first typewriter from an elderly couple who had purchased their Underwood portable in the 1950s.
What started as a small rebellion against the digital age gradually became a fascination with the machines themselves—their weight, their mechanics, their presence. Along the way I discovered a hidden community of typewriter enthusiasts. I became curious about what drives people to unearth, dust off, and revive these forgotten instruments by feeding them fresh ink.
From writers and collectors to technicians and sellers, the typewriter has woven itself into many lives. Through this project I tried to bring those stories to the surface.
The first three stories were exhibited at Cultura (Ede, NL) in March 2025.
Still, Moving
Still, Moving is an ongoing photographic project shaped through encounters with places where nothing is demanded. Time feels wide enough to breathe, and movement does not replace stillness.
The project remains open, allowing its form and meaning to unfold over time.
